Only five percent of the world harvest in cocoa beans is of superior quality. These beans thrive in tropical areas with a warm and humid climate near the equator, like Central- and South America, the Caribbean, Java, Madagascar and New-Guinea.
Rausch’ chocolate is made only from these particular beans, growing on the very best plantations in these countries. The cocoa percentages vary from 37 % to no less than 80%.
